Voting records continue to fall after 795 voters cast ballots on the first Saturday in early voting.
This sets a record for a Saturday in a Governor’s election, and overall 5,816 voters have now voted in this election.
Early voting continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon, Saturdays, until Nov. 1, in the auditorium of the Madison County Agricultural Complex at 311 North Parkway.
Election Day is November 6.
In order to vote, a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. Government must be presented.
