An opening date has not been announced, but look for Slim Chickens to open at 6 Channing Way in late fall.

Originally from Trumann, Ark., Harris will co-own and supervise the Jackson restaurant, which looks to hire between 120 and 150 people.
The Jackson location is one of 10 scheduled to open in Tennessee.
Slim Chickens is recognized as a leading fast casual franchise which features dine-in and drive-thru in the “better chicken” segment.
The Davis Group is bringing the restaurant to Jackson.
With over 15 years in the restaurant industry, Scott and Cody Davis are existing Slim Chickens franchisees and also oversee operations of over 30 Sonic Drive-In restaurants.
The brand prides itself on its cooked-to-order fresh food and strong devoted fanbase, also known as “Slimthusiasts.”
Slim Chickens has distinguished itself in the “better chicken” segment by offering high-quality food and 17 house-made dipping sauces, allowing customers to enjoy a different flavor profile with each visit.
