JACKSON, Tennessee – The excitement continued at the historic Carl Perkins Civic Center in Jackson, TN as Night Two of the Miss Volunteer America Pageant crowned two new preliminary winners in Talent and Fitness & Wellness.
Miss New Jersey Volunteer, Grace Herdelin, impressed the judges with a standout operatic performance of “O Mio Babbino Caro,” earning the Talent Preliminary Award and a $500 scholarship sponsored by Mr. Chris Chambers.
Miss Alabama Volunteer, Caroline Clark, was honored with the Fitness & Wellness Preliminary Award, along with a $500 scholarship sponsored by Morgan Morgan Fitness.
Preliminary competitions end today (doors open at 6:30 p.m., activities begin at 7 p.m.) with the final crowning on Saturday, June 21.
