The Madison County Solid Waste Convenience Center, 31 Bowman-Collins Road in Medon, is closed due to flooding.
“We decided to close for the safety of the citizens and our employees,” Environmental Health Program Director Candy Overstreet said, “We will reopen when we determine it’s safe for people to get in and out of the site.”
All other convenience centers are open and operating on a regular schedule.
