The Madison County Commission regular monthly meeting again meant a closed door attorney / client conference for commissioners.
Commissioners spent about an hour in the closed door session and didn't discuss what what said.
When the commissioners emerged and returned to open meeting they took several votes.
Commissioner voted to approve an additional $1600 to pay the attorney hired to conduct an investigation into Sexual Harassment charges against Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork. This brings the total commissioners spent to $31.600.
Commissioners also voted to let attorneys schedule mediation meetings with representatives for the two women alleging Sexual Harassment against Woolfork.
Mediation had been previously approved but was to wait on other court scheduled regarding an order of protection against Woolfork Commissioners decided to proceed when that hearing was reset for March 2014.
The votes on both motions was 19 – 6 with commissioners split along race lines.
