Colonel Winston Henning, who retired as executive director of the Jackson Housing Authority in January 2018, passed away Tuesday, April 15.

Mr. Henning, who served the nonprofit organization for 30 years, was 73. 

Prior to his tenure at the Housing Authority, Mr. Henning worked 11 years for the City of Jackson as the community development director. 

Mercer Brothers Funeral Home will have arrangements for Mr. Henning.
