The Hawks (4-5) entertain Lexington (5-4) in a Class 4A, Region 6 game with a home state playoff berth on the line, Friday.
“I give a lot of credit to my offensive line and receivers,” Cole said, “They got open and got to the sticks (yard marker) and moved the chains. Now the focus is on Lexington.”
Coaches Quote:
“We had a big win over the North Side Indians and Cole Britton was one of those reasons,” said Tyler Reeder, South Side head football coach, “It was a big team effort, but Cole was the one who stood out.
“Not only did we get the big win, Friday night, but Cole also went over 1,000 yards passing this year … a big accomplishment and we’re proud of him and we look forward to finishing the season strong.”
