All schools in the Jackson-Madison County School System will be open Friday, April 1.

Entrances and exits have been cleared at all JMCSS campuses and our Operations team has inspected every building.­­

Due to confirmed reports of significant damage throughout the city and county, all Jackson-Madison County Schools were closed Thursday, March 31.

Nine school buildings, including the Central Office, were without power. Several roads were also impassable due to downed power lines.
