Clark Shaw, CEO of The Old Country Store, remains at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, after he was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Brooks Shaw, who serves as general manager of The Old Country Store, posted the following about his father.
Not much news to share as of now. He did not rest well last night as the staff was checking on him, which we are choosing to look at as a blessing. Clark has told us the staff is excellent and professional, and he is thanking them every chance he gets.
Oxygen levels look good so far and they are working to get his heart rhythm to a normal level. There are no blood clots in his lungs, which we are very grateful for. We are waiting to hear back from a couple of other tests.
Clark, Juanita, Elizabeth, and myself are so thankful for the well wishes and prayers for Clark, us, and our family at the Old Country Store. We know there are prayers being lifted literally from coast to coast.
Always the selfless entrepreneur, Clark asks for our Guests to help him by coming and supporting his family and the nearly 100 Team Members that work with him. He is ready to recover and see you all again very soon.
