From Miss Lexington to Miss Tennessee.

Caty Davis will represent the state of Tennessee when the Miss America Pageant is held Sept. 10, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, after claiming the title at the 65th annual Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, Saturday.

Davis, who won the swimsuit competition in Friday’s preliminaries, wins $13,000 in scholarships.

Miss Scenic City, Christine Williamson was named first runner-up, and she was followed by second runner-up Miss Collierville, Amber Reed.

Miss Tennessee Waltz, Brianna Mason was the third runner-up, and Miss Nashville, Hannah Bobinger, was fourth runner-up.

Davis was one of 36 ladies competing for the title of Miss Tennessee Scholarship Pageant, and the only preliminary winner to become one of the five finalists.
