Cam Anderson, a senior and two-way starter for the South Side Hawks, is the 101.5 FM & WNWS.COM football ‘Player of the Week.’

Presented by Mann’s Wrecker and AJD Metal Designs.com, Cam helped lead the Hawks to their first win of the season, a 41-0 win over Liberty.

“It was a crosstown rival, so the game meant a lot to us,” Cam said, “We just had to go out there and make sure we won and make sure the fans loved what they saw and we got the ‘W.’

“A two-way starter – wide receiver and safety – Cam had a touchdown on both sides of the football,” Tyler Reeder, South Side head football coach said, “Also a captain on Friday … not only did he make big plays on Friday night, but he also leads our team throughout the week.”
