About Caleb Meriwether –

I grew up in Jackson, graduating high school in 2004. From there, I attended college at the University of Alabama and graduated in 2008. I attended the University of Memphis for law school and completed that in 2011.

I then practiced law for about 8 years with Rainey, Kizer, Reviere and Bell in both their Jackson and Memphis offices. My wife and I lived in downtown Memphis for about seven years before returning to Jackson in 2018.

About five years ago I decided that I wasn’t cut out to be a lawyer. I evaluated a few different career paths and ultimately settled on an independent insurance agency and Haven was born in February, 2020.

Covid began in earnest in March – so it was an interesting time to start a business. But we have managed to keep the lights on and there are 16 of us now. As a lawyer the bulk of my practice was devoted to insurance and business related litigation. That background has served me well in identifying risks and helping clients thru those situations when a risk is realized.

I currently live in midtown Jackson with my wife and two children.
