I married Shelley Hayes, and we have three children – Joel, Adelynn and Alivia. We now live on our family farm in Medon.

Question: How long have you been with Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical, what was your first position and what motivated you to choose the profession?

Answer: I have been with Hiller since August of 2018.

I started my career in heating and cooling as a HVAC installer in August 2000, and able to transition to an HVAC service technician in April of 2004.

In March of 2006, I was promoted to a Project Manager and remained in that role until August of 2018 when I became the General Manager of the Jackson, Tennessee branch of Hiller.

The passion to serve people has been my motivation. Caring about our customers and building lifelong friendships beyond the services we provide has truly been a blessing to me.

Question: Hiller covers plumbing, heating, cooling and electric. Which area would you say is your speciality, and what drove you to learn about each field?

Answer: Jimmy Hiller (owner) started in the new construction plumbing and the plumbing service department grew out of customer demand.

Over the years heating, cooling and electrical have been added because customers have asked for it. My background is the heating and cooling trade.

HVAC has a good blend of electrical and plumbing with the needed knowledge to be able to install and service HVAC systems. Most of our technicians are trade specific, but we do have some that are hybrid technicians with backgrounds in two trades.

Question: When did Hiller open for business in Jackson and Madison County, and how did you put together a staff?

Answer: Hiller Jackson opened in March of 2015. When I came onboard in August 2018 we had a total staff of 13.

Over the past few years we have grown to 29 on staff in the Jackson branch. We want to hire the best technicians that truly want to serve our customers with a smile on their faces. We are blessed to have a great team in Jackson.

Question: Besides Jackson and Madison County, does Hiller have a presence in other West Tennessee communities?

Answer: We serve all of West Tennessee out of our Jackson Branch except for Shelby, Fayette and Tipton counties. Those counties are served from our Hiller Memphis branch.
