Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative based in Jackson, is pleased to introduce Jared Freeman as the Chief Experience Officer.
According to a press release, Freeman will oversee all branch and e-branch operations at Leaders Credit Union which includes eight retail facilities and the member contact center.
“Jared was a strategic hire, and we are thrilled he will be joining our executive team,” said Todd Swims, president and CEO of Leaders Credit Union, “Jared brings extensive experience in the credit union industry and an innovative outlook that our team will benefit from greatly.”
As the Chief Experience Officer, Freeman will be responsible for the overall experience of Leaders members.
He will work with the organization’s products, services, and staff to enhance and grow technology, engagement, and service levels. The CXO will champion Leaders’ mission and vision and will manage the human resources and training departments. This ensures a positive experience for all staff and members as the credit union grows both internally and externally.
Born and raised in Montgomery, Ala., Freeman began working in the credit union industry at age 16.
He most recently served as CEO of ASE Credit Union as well as COO of Guardian Credit Union in Montgomery, Ala.
Freeman has been married to his wife, Laura, for six years. He plans to become active in the West Tennessee community while representing Leaders as a community champion.
