Sidney David Florist, 1362 S. Highland Ave., is about to give way to the wrecking ball, according to Lou Bosco of Lou Bosco Contractor Services.
Bosco said demolition on the building is expected to begin next week.
He said the demolition will make the property more marketable, but added the property has not been sold.
The owner of the property could not be reached for comment
