A body found inside a vehicle off East Chester Street near John Williams Road, Monday, has been identified.

LaSean Randle, 26, from Jackson, was discovered inside the vehicle, which was upside down in a creek.

The Jackson Police Department received a call around 8 a.m., Monday.

The vehicle and body matches the description of a person and vehicle that were reported missing to Jackson police on March 29.

The body will be sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville to determine the identity and cause of death.
