Birth Choice annual ‘Walk for Life’ set for Oct. 2 at West Jackson Baptist Church

Birth Choice will hold its annual Walk for Life at West Jackson Baptist Church, at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, for anyone interested in fundraising for their ministry to women and men facing unexpected pregnancies.

The Walk for Life uses peer-to-peer fundraising. In the weeks leading up to the walk, walkers ask friends and family to “sponsor” them by pledging or donating to Birth Choice. Walkers meet on Oct. 2, to walk together, show their support for life, and enjoy several activities. People can register or learn more at birthchoice.biz.

Walkers can expect a 1.5 mile walk, food, music, games, a Madison County Fire Department puppet show, emergency response vehicles, and more. Admission is free for sponsored walkers/families and donors.

Last year 140 precious babies were saved from abortion when people around the community answered God’s call to partner with the Birth Choice mission. In fact, the clinic saw more clients considering abortion than ever before. This year, Birth Choice is launching a second mobile clinic and adding a second ultrasound room to the Jackson office. With their increased online advertising, the ministry is already reaching more women considering abortion.

Birth Choice’s goal is to raise $80,000 from the Walk for Life. The funds benefit all Birth Choice locations and Mobile Clinics and directly support preborn children, mothers, and their families in the West TN community. For more information about the walk, email [email protected] or call 731-453-8159.

Birth Choice is a pro-life, nonprofit pregnancy clinic in West TN. Since 1989, the ministry has empowered thousands of women and men to choose life for their babies and eternal life in Christ! Their Mobile Units and clinics in Jackson and Gibson County offer free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds as well as pregnancy and relationship information, parenting classes, and material assistance. The Mobile Units serve Hardeman, Haywood, Fayette, Henderson, and Hardin Counties.
