Bill Way has decided to retire as a News/Talk 101.5 FM show host.

After more than 50 years in the media business, including 24 years as host of the Bill Way Show, Bill says he is eager to retire “…from the world I have lived in all of my life.”

During a three-month sabbatical, Bill and his wife, Susan, enjoyed traveling.

In a note to management Bill wrote, “For the first time in our entire married life we can do whatever we want to do whenever we want to do it… I welcome the tremendous opportunities the coming years will bring.” With a touch of nostalgia, Bill added; “What a run we had.”

Larry Wood, station manager stated: “Bill Way’s service to the community on News/Talk 101.5 FM is greatly appreciated, and we wish Bill and Susan much enjoyment in the years ahead.”
