Stephen Lynn Stokes, a Benton County commissioner, has been indicted on one count of Sexual Battery of a minor.

Documents say this offense occurred in the late 2022.

Stokes’ bond was set at $100,000, and the judge placed a no contact order with the victim.

Stokes, 50, was ordered to surrender his passport.
