The Jackson Beer Board had to postpone its March meeting due to a lack of a quorum at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.
City Councilman Johnny Dodd, who chairs the board, was out of town, and Russ McKelvey, also a city council member, was absent due to illness.
The only beer board member in attendance was city councilman J.P. Stovall.
A special called meeting will be held for those who were unable to apply for a permit.

Cara Hickerson, for a Special Occasion, known as The Jackson Symphony- ‘Ballads and Boots’ to sell, store, and serve on March 21, 2025, at Jackson Regional Airport, 308 Grady Montgomery Drive.
Mamie Hutcherson, for a Special Occasion, known as ‘Denim and Pearls’ to sell, store, and serve on March 29, 2025, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
Tracey McKnight, for a Special Occasion, known as ‘Friends of Heart-Murder Mystery Dinner,’ to sell, store, and serve on April 24, 2025, at the Madison Downs Venue.
Jason Power, for a business known as JT’s Sports Bar and Patio located at 595 Old Hickory Blvd., for selling, storing, and serving on the premises where sold.
