JACKSON, Tennessee – In collaboration with the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex, The Madison County Babe Ruth League is hosting the Southeast Regional Tournament for 13 and 14 year-olds starting Wednesday, July 28.
This tournament will feature 15 total teams (6 from Florida, 3 from Virginia, 3 from North Carolina, and 3 from Tennessee) from as far away as West Palm Beach, FL and Arlington, VA.
Our local Madison County team will also compete in both age divisions.
The Tournament will begin with a combined opening ceremony Wednesday, July 28, at 9 a.m., followed by the first games at 10:30 a.m.
All games will be played in Complex D at the West Tennessee Sportsplex with the 13s on Field 16 and the 14s on Field 15.
Games will be played at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5:30 p.m., each day Wednesday through Friday.
Saturday, July 31 will be Championship Saturday with games at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and both Championships played at 3 p.m.
There will be a game in the 13s on Sunday, August 1 at 12:30 p.m. – if necessary.
There is no charge for fans entering to watch this baseball tournament.
