Authorities looking for people who stole blank checks, credit card

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from Jackson Sand, located at 139 United Dr. in North Jackson at 10:10 a.m., Monday, after the owner reported that his business office had been broken into and the desk was ransacked.

Someone had stolen blank checks and a Mastercard.

Surveillance cameras show an unknown black male who appeared to be leaving in a gold Nissan.

The suspect, and his accomplice, a black female were seen on surveillance cameras at Walmart North, 2196 Emporium Drive, and Nerdvana, 1923 Emporium Drive, using the credit card.

The suspect at Nerdvana purchased an Xbox controller and games at Nerdvana.

They were seen leaving in a blue Chrysler van.

Several purchases were also made at other retail locations, including a Dollar General Store amounting to over $1,000.00.

The MCSO is asking for the public’s assistance in locating these individuals and ask you to call 423-6000, or Crime Stoppers (731) 424-TIPS (8477).
