Austin Francis, who has worked at West Tennessee Healthcare for four-plus years, was named the West Tennessee Healthcare’s employee of the month for November.

He received the award when the WTH Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.

Tina Prescott, vice president/Chief Nursing Officer joined director Beth VanWyk for the presentation.

Austin works in transport and is recognized as a dedicated team player.

According to a press release, “Austin is always courteous, well-mannered, caring, and compassionate and will try to do anything to help if asked.

“His calm and gentle demeanor is very soothing to the patients. He is knowledgeable and efficient in everything he does. Austin goes above and beyond what he is required to do, and he takes his job to heart. WTH is blessed to have him as a team member!”
