Applicant has request for beer permit placed on hold due to contempt and outstanding warrant

The Jackson Beer Board considered two requests for permits during a meeting at the City Council Chambers, Tuesday.

One request for a beer permit was approved – while a second application was placed on hold due to an outstanding arrest warrant.

Records showed that Adrian Antonio Sanders is in contempt of court for being deliquent in child support payments totaling $11,000.

He was applying for a beer permit at a business known as Allure Bistro & Bar, 63 Heritage Square.

Shawn Collier, was approved for a business known as One Five Bar & Grill, 1605 North Parkway, for selling, storing and serving beer on the premises where sold.
