The longest running marathon in the State of Tennessee – and one of the 10 oldest in the nation – will be held, Saturday, April 5.

The 26.2 mile event – which was first run in 1972 – begins and finishes in downtown Jackson on Shannon Street and West Lafayette Street.

The marathon and 13.1-mile half-marathon races follow the same looped course, two loops for marathon runners and one loop for half-marathon runners.
