Andrew Chapman arrived in Jackson as the broadcaster and Media Coordinator of the Jackson Generals, the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
But his road took another turn after COVID-19 sidelined the 2020 Minor League Baseball season, and Chapman finds himself as an on-air personality at Grace Media Group – NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM, 93.1 FM and WNWS.COM.
Before arriving in Jackson, Chapman broadcast Minor League Baseball for two seasons – 2019 with the Biloxi Shuckers of the Southern League and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League in 2018.
A native of Stockton, California, Andrew graduated from Arizona State University with a journalism and mass communication degree from the Walter Cronkite School in 2017.
As a Sun Devil, Chapman was play-by-play for Arizona State baseball, softball, football, basketball and soccer on local student radio and PAC-12 Digital Networks.
