A talented top 10 percent of high school students from the Jackson-Madison County School System, private schools and students from the contiguous county schools were honored during a ceremony at the University of Memphis Lambuth, Sunday.
Adam Johnson, who works in the office of enrollment at the University of Memphis Lambuth, said 30 students attended the third annual event.
“We were able to have conversations about the University of Memphis Lambuth campus, and introduce faculty,” Johnson said.
Dr. Karen Weddle-West, Provost at the University of Memphis, was the guest speaker at the event, which will be held in the Wilder Building’s Jack Morris ballroom.
