Sharon S. Lee, an employee with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, and her husband, Anthonie Lee, are dead, following an alleged murder/suicide, in Haywood County, Saturday.
According to multiple reports, Anthonie Lee, an officer with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, shot his wife numerous times before taking his own life with one gunshot wound.
The bodies of Anthonie and Sharon Lee, which have been sent to the medical examiners’ office for an autopsy, were found in a pickup truck in the driveway of their home on T.J. Mize Road.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office could not be reached for comment.
