Alexia Lebel, who had repeatedly assisted in her husband’s flight from law enforcement until his capture, Thursday, was also arrested.

A multi-task force operation was launched, successfully captured fugitive Brian Lebel in Henning, TN.
On January 29, 2025, Brian Lebel was sentenced to two years of probation and to serve 90 days in the Lauderdale County Jail for Reckless Aggravated Assault. This was a result of an incident where Lebel shot and struck a Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office vehicle in 2024. Despite being allowed to return home and report to jail to serve the remainder of his sentence as well as supervised probation with the State of Tennessee, Lebel violated his court-ordered terms by refusing to return to jail or meet with probation.
For approximately four months, significant state and federal resources have been spent pursuing Lebel. His status as a ‘survivalist’, spending most of his time in the woods, has made locating and capturing him challenging.
A unified force of over 70 law enforcement officers from various agencies assisted in the capture of Lebel at a campground utilized by Lebel, which contained numerous items consistent with living in the wilderness as a “survivalist,” including high-grade night vision goggles.
Brian Lebel is currently housed in the Lauderdale County Jail, charged with Violation of Probation, Simple Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest, and Resisting Arrest.
