JACKSON Tenn (March 13, 2015) — A Central Distributor truck driver was on his route when he was assaulted and robbed.
According to Madison County Sheriff’s Department, around 1:3o Friday afternoon the driver was making a stop at The Pond, on Bowman Collins Road in Medon. The victim says he was struck from behind.
The robber stated he had a weapon but the victim says he did not see one. The man stole the victim’s cellphone and a First State Bank cash bag with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black male and he was driving a late model maroon Chevrolet Impala.
