CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are still searching for Latrell Creighton, who was charged with second-degree murder in relation to a homicide that occurred in the 20900 block of Third Avenue on Oct. 4, 2025.
At about 11:02 p.m. on Oct. 4, police responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon on Third Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located Omarion Bryant, 20, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Bryant, of Dinwiddie, was pronounced dead on scene.
On Oct. 6, 2025, police arrested Jalen Johnson, of Prince George County, for accessory after the fact of homicide in relation to the shooting. Johnson is currently being held without bond in the Chesterfield County Jail.
Police obtained a warrant for second-degree homicide for Creighton, 19, of the 25600 block of Brunswick Avenue in Dinwiddie, Va. Creighton is described as a Black male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a distinctive tattoo across the front of his neck. He should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone encounters Creighton, call 911 immediately and do not approach him.
As this investigation has progressed, police have arrested Cordarious Berry, 39, of the 300 block of Appomattox Street in Hopewell, Va. He has been charged with possession of a schedule I or II drug and possession of ammunition by a felon. Berry is being held at Riverside Regional Jail on a probation violation. Berry is the father of Creighton.
The police investigation has revealed that Creighton has family in Jackson, Tenn., and they are actively aiding him. Police will continue to investigate, but ask the public both locally and in Jackson, Tenn., to report any information on Creighton’s whereabouts immediately to their local police department.
