Shirley Jones recognized by Jackson-Madison County School Board

JACKSON, Tenn. – Shirley Jones, a 33-year employee with the Jackson Chamber, was honored by the Jackson-Madison School Board Monday.

Jones, senior vice president, public affairs, was presented an award for her years of commitment and dedicated service to the school system.

Jones began working at the chamber on a part-time basis and became the manager of workforce development.
“We have hired a new manager of Workforce development, Vicki Bunch, because that is the number one issue in Economic Development, and I have transitioned the education part of my job to her, but I am not retiring, I will still be doing governmental affairs, the ribbon cuttings, and all the other things I do.
