JACKSON, Tenn. – A Jackson couple is facing  charges in connection with a shoplifting scheme.

Casey Sanders and Melanie Page are charged with theft and fraud.  Both
were in Jackson City Court for arraignment.

According to police, Sanders took items from the shelves of Kohl’s on
Vann Drive in Jackson for Page to try and return for cash.

Authorities say the store security camera shows Sanders driving onto the parking lot of Kohl’s with an unidentified woman.
The pair entered the store at separate times.

Police say once inside Sanders then took several items from shelves and was observed giving those items to the woman who tried to fraudulently return them.

Casey Sanders and Melanie Page are being held in Madison Count Jail in leiu of bond
