TRENTON, Tenn. – According to police a man shot his wife then turned the weapon on himself.  The incident happened near the intersection of South College Street and
West 10th Street in Trenton.

Police have identified the man as 53-year -old Cedric Pigue. The victim
is his wife, 50-year-old Angela Pigue. Both of Trenton

According to Trenton Police Chief Will Sanders, when officers arrived on
the scene Pigue shot himself in front of them without having any
interaction. Inside the vehicle officers discovered the wife’s body.

Police Sanders says both bodies are being taken to Memphis for autopsy.

The investigation is ongoing.
