According to sources, the Jackson Police Department is investigating a possible homicide at Campbell Street and Gillman Lane near a car wash.
Upon arrival, the JPD officers located an individual who had succumbed to gunshot wounds.
The Emergency Medical Services and Criminal Investigation Department are working the scene.
