It is with deep sadness that we share with you the passing of Dr. Phil Jett, Englewood’s Pastor Emeritus.

Dr. Jett has always been known for his heart to reach others for the Gospel. He has faithfully served Englewood for the last 40 years all the while leading people to Christ. One of the lifetime investments of his ministry was his love for the people of Brazil, where he spent much of his time loving, equipping, and serving the people there. While we are grieving the absence of Dr. Jett, our hearts find joy in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord.

Please pray for his wife, Karen Jett, his children David Jett, Steven Jett, and Susan (Jett) Larson, and for the rest of the family.

We will share the details of the arrangements as they are made available.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
