The Women in Business (WIB) quarterly luncheon, hosted by the Greater Jackson Chamber, was held Tuesday in the Grant Events Centers at Union University. More than 100 women came to hear Angie May as the featured speaker.
The Jackson native earned a master’s degree in Christian Counseling in Substance Abuse and Addictive Disorders, and has created Kairos Koaching to address the growing need for leadership training.
May explained what’s behind her presentation, “Unlocking your Enneagram.”
“The idea is to help each person discover their best self, become self-aware, and build stronger personal and professional relationships,” she said.
May said people often take tests to see how others perceive us, but less often tests are taken to learn about how we perceive ourselves.
Each woman who registered for the event was given a link to take an enneagram test ahead of time, and was given the results for May to break down during her presentation.
May now lives with her husband and two boys in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Women in Business Luncheons are sponsored by Arrington Funeral Directors, Roberts Jewelers, Nordstar Medical Skincare and Laser Center, Sun Tan City, and The West Tennessee Women’s Center.
The next WIB luncheon is set for Thursday, May 11, at the Hilton Garden Inn, Jackson. To register visit jacksontn.com
