The Trinity Lions boys basketball program is rolling through the season with a record of 18-5 so far in 2022-23.
Head Coach Dexter Williams has the Lions first in the TSSAA Division II West standings.
Forward Brayden Waller leads the Lions in scoring with 13.6 points per game. Guard Kaleb Williams follows close behind Waller with 13.0 points per game. Forward Will Keltner rounds out the Lions top-three scorers with 11.7 points per game.
Specifically, Waller impacts the game in every aspect of the game. Not only is he a scorer but the 6-foot-2-inch sophomore is averaging 2.1 steals per game. His lightning-quick hands are able to get TCA out in transition, where they do significant damage to other teams.
The Lions are 7-1 in district play so far this season and tout a five-game win streak spanning from January 13-20.
TCA looks to continue their dominance as they host Sacred Heart on Tuesday, with the girls game tipping at 6 p.m.; and the red-hot boys team tipping at 7:30 p.m.
