The Jackson Beer Board approved requests for six special occasion and two business permits during its monthly meeting at City Hall, Tuesday.
- Suzanne Dement was approved for a Special Occasion permit for the Nest Realty County Fair to sell, store, and serve at the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market – September 17.
- Adam Rust was approved for a Special Occasion permit for the ‘October Fest’ to sell, store, and serve at the Sacred Heart of Jesus High School – September 24.
- Randy Hall was approved for a Special Occasion permit for the Jacob Barker Music Festival to sell, store, and serve at the Farmer’s Market – September 30.
- Roger Vestal was approved for a Special Occasion permit for the Forever Communications/Jackson Brew Fest to sell, store, and serve at the In The Big Inning/Ballpark at Jackson – October 22.
- Frank T. McMeen Jr., president, West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, was approved for a Special Occasion permit for the ‘Patron’s Party,’ to sell, store, and serve at the Robert Walden residence – November 11.
- Frank T. McMeen Jr. was approved for a Special Occasion permit for the WTH Foundation Charity Gala to sell, store, and serve at Carl Perkins Civic Center – November 12.
- Barry J. Nabours Jr. was approved for a permit for a business known as Bourbon & Barley, LLC, 1037 Union University Drive, for selling, storing, and serving on the premises where sold – opening date of restaurant has not been announced.
- Muthana Qattoom was approved for a permit for a business known as Shell Downtown Inc., 336 South Highland Ave., for selling, storing, and serving on the premises where sold.
