University School of Jackson girls won the DII-A state soccer championship when the Lady Bruins defeated the two-time defending state champion BGA, 1-0, at CHI Memorial Stadium in Chattanooga, Friday.

USJ reached the final following a 7-0 win over Nashville Christian in the state semifinal.
