Human Trafficking Sting Nets More Than a Dozen Arrests

JACKSON, Tenn. (August 3, 2015) — State investigators say more than a dozen people were arrested on charges related to sex trafficking during a sting in West Tennessee.

The multi-day sting in Jackson resulted in arrests on charges including sexual exploitation of a minor. With help from the Jackson Police Department and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, agents also identified several young women who may be human trafficking victims.

Three men appeared in Jackson City Court on charges from recent sting operations

According to court documents, Timothy Charles Miller, 39, is accused of soliciting a 15-year-old for sex.  Investigators allege Miller responded to a Craigslist ad seeking a young black male for sex.

Corey Naylor, 25, is charged with soliciting a 16-year-old female for sex after responding and arranging to meet her at a Jackson residence.

Adam Urich, 28, is accused of soliciting what he believed was a 16-year-old girl.  Investigators allege Urich responded to a Craigslist ad
seeking a mother and daughter for sex.

Miller and Urich are charged with solicitation of aggravated statutory rape.

Naylor is charged with solicitation of statutory rape.

Each man was being held in lieu a $30,000 bond.
