The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms three additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 179 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 96-year-old female (died 12/26/2020)
- 90-year-old female (died 12/11/ 2020)
- 90-year-old female (died 12/8/2020)
The health department received positive test results for 25 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 10,711 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 10,000 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 3 to 81.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Ten Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Two of those patients are on a ventilator.
