A utility pole that was hit by a vehicle around 3:30 a.m., today, at 1157 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass has been reset.

Service for approximately 2,000 telecom customers was disrupted, but a step-by-step process is underway.

The accident took out a key 144 fiber line that contained fiber at a key service junction producing the extensive service disruption.

Service restoration will take place over the next few hours.
