The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will host a free six-week program for people living with diabetes and prediabetes.
The ‘Take Charge of Your Diabetes’ program kicks off Thursday, July 2 at 5:30 p.m., at the health department, 804 North Parkway.
The classes will be held July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and Aug. 6.
Workshops run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the health department, and will cover a variety of topics including blood sugar monitoring, nutrition labels, healthy eating, and more.
