Dr. Cindi Swaim – Family Medicine Physician & Chief Quality Officer at The Jackson Clinic – outlines the new screening process for its patients.
New Patient Protocol for The Jackson Clinic –Â Effective Immediately
If you call:
All patients who call our contact center will be screened for any respiratory symptoms, fever, or possible exposure to COVID-19. If patients need to be seen due to moderate or severe symptoms, they will be directed to North Convenient Care.
If you have an appointment or walk-in to a Jackson Clinic location:
All Jackson Clinic locations will have a designated triage nurse at the entrance to screen all patients for respiratory illnesses, fever, or possible exposure to COVID-19.
Patients that have respiratory symptoms will receive a mask and be triaged to North Convenient Care location. The North Convenient Care location will be seeing only respiratory illnesses. Any patients presenting to North Convenient Care without respiratory symptoms will be triaged to one of our primary care physicians in our North Main Location or to Medina Convenient Care.
Telehealth – is available for a video call with a Jackson Clinic provider.
This protocol is to better serve and protect all of our patients, both sick and well, at this time.
