Red Hook Cajun Seafood & Bar, 363 North Parkway, has been open four days, but a ribbon cutting with Jackson Chamber members, made it official, Wednesday.

“It’s an exciting time to be in Jackson,” Daniel Ellington said, “The chamber members came out, and we had a great ribbon cutting. This is a beautiful day … the sun is out and Red Hook Cajun Seafood and Bar is here on North Parkway at the U.S. Highway 45 Bypass.”

Daniel Ellington co-owns the restaurant.

Business hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

Seating is available for 100 plus customers.

Besides Jackson, the Bartlett-based Red Hook Cajun Seafood & Bar – Family of Restaurants – is also located in Memphis at 3295 Poplar Avenue, and San Antonio, Texas.

A fifth location is scheduled to open in Memphis at Wolfchase Mall.
