It might be an understatement, but NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM and WNWS.COM will offer complete coverage of local high school football teams for the 2019 season.
The University School of Jackson, Jackson Christian, South Gibson County, Crockett County, Peabody High School and Haywood High School will have games streamed live.
“It’s our Digital TV Network, and this year we’ve added Jackson Christian,” said Dan Reaves, “Coach Joe Holloway will handle the play-by-play, and David Wade will be the color commentator.”
Reaves said Dan Hughes, who was a radio station manager in Lexington, becomes the ‘Voice of the Peabody Golden Tide.’
“Dan Hughes was also the voice of the Lexington Tigers from 1979 to 2006,” Reaves said, “Terry Clement, who coached the girls basketball program at Lexington, will be the color commentator.”
Here’s the roster of schools and broadcasters
