The Jackson Energy Authority Board of Directors approved seven resolutions during their monthly meeting at the Tennergy Center, Thursday.
The Board of Directors authorized the purchase of a new 50-foot Digger Derrick cab and chassis for the Electric Division.
Altec Industries submitted the low bid of $323,968.
The Board authorized a Miscellaneous Electric Construction and Maintenance Contract.
Broadway Electric Service Corporation (BESCO) submitted the low bid of $446,462.50.
The Board approved the purchase of a Regulator Testing Machine (RTM) from Engineering Services Company.
Engineering Services Company of San Jose, California submitted the low bid of $54,358.
The Board approved the purchase of Water Meters and Communication Modules (ERTs).
Badger Meter, Inc., submitted the low bid of $125,000 for the meters, and United Systems, of Lafayette, Tennessee submitted the low bid of $112,320 for the modules.
The Board approved a contract for rehabilitation work in accordance with JES’s Wastewater Rehabilitation Master Plan.
Argo Construction of Cordova submitted the low bid of $2,508,970.66.
The Board authorized a contract with TLM Associates, Inc., for design services for the building renovation at 119 E. College Street.
The amount is not to exceed $225,000.
The Board approved the purchase of 225 portable Automated external Defibrillator (AED) units from Master Medical Equipment from Jackson for the amount of $133,875.
