Little detail is yet available about a crash that occurred in the 5am hour on I-40 this morning. A motorcycle was involved and the wreck scene was in the eastbound lane between Exit 56 and Hatchie River.

A Hospital Wing helicopter flew to the scene and transported one person. Another victim was treated in an ambulance and taken to the Exit 56 overpass where a second helicopter arrived to take the patient on to an area hospital.
