Gehrig Rabun didn’t have time to work up a sweat, in the University of Jackson’s 10-0 win over visiting Sacred Heart, Monday.
A senior pitcher, Gehrig used 60 pitches in the contest, which was called after five innings.
“My curve ball,” Gehrig said, when asked what pitch worked best, “It found the strike zone every time.”
Gehrig recorded six strikeouts and only two baseballs made their way to the outfield.
Gehrig, who entered Monday’s game with a 1.1 earned run average, improved to 6-0 on the season.
A two-run home run by Eli Brauss was all the support Gehrig needed to help the Bruins improve to 16-1 overall.
